Refunds and cancellations

These rules apply to sittings booked with Cognit Latticefield Academy Co., Ltd. at 55/8 Phetchaburi Rd, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400. They cover the Confluence Desk, the Evening Confluence Workshop, the Trade Journal Clinic, and the Open Chart Hour. Eligibility and timeframe

A prepaid desk sitting or workshop place is refunded in full when you cancel at least 72 hours before the start. Inside 72 hours, half the fee is returned if another person already waiting for that date takes the chair. If the chair stays empty, the fee is kept, because the hour was held for you.

Clinic deposit and sittings not yet started

The clinic fee covers four sittings. Once the first date is confirmed, the portion equal to one sitting is kept. Any sitting that has not started can be refunded if you cancel it before it begins. A sitting that has already begun is kept for the time used.

Open chart hour

The open hour is paid at the door. If you leave during the hour, the fee for that hour is kept. If all six chairs are taken and you are not seated, no fee is taken.

No-shows

If you do not arrive and you have not cancelled, the fee for that sitting is kept. For the clinic, a missed week still counts as the sitting that was reserved; the remaining future sittings can be refunded under the rule above if you cancel them before they start.

Rescheduling

You may move a confirmed sitting once, without an extra fee, if you ask at least 48 hours before it starts. A second move is treated as a cancellation under the 72-hour rule. If you are ill, send a short note and we will move that sitting once onto the next open date even inside the 48-hour window.

Work already started and materials

Time already spent in a sitting is not refunded. Chart copies the academy has already printed for you, because you asked for them by name, are charged at cost and are not refunded. Unused blank paper in the room is not billed.

How a refund is paid

Approved refunds go back by the original payment method within 14 working days after we confirm the amount by email. If the original method cannot receive it, we will agree another method in writing before sending the money. Tell us the date, the sitting name, and the email you booked with.

Exceptions

If the academy cancels a sitting, you may take a full refund of the unused fee or move to another date, at your choice. Public-transport failure in Bangkok on the day, told to us the same day, is treated like the illness rule: one move, not a cash refund of a sitting that the room still held.
